Club Info
Field Lane Football Club is a non-profit making limited company, run by volunteers, for the benefit of young children and young adults, who wish to pursue the sport of competitive football. The club was founded in 1982 by a group of local parents, who recognised the need to organise sporting activities for children in the Field Lane area.
Over a number of years the club has grown considerately, from just two teams, we now have over 27 teams playing in the Derby Mini Soccer League, Derbyshire Girls and Ladies League and Derby City League. We have Girls and Boys teams from Under 6's to Senior Level.
In 2010 we were the first club in Derby City to be Awarded FA Charter Standard Community Club Award the pinnacle award of the FA club development pathway, Following several years as a Charter Standard and Development Club.
Each year we hold an Annual Tournament, which attracts over 200 teams from the midlands. Visit our Tournament page for details.
30 Years of Providing Football Fun Day
The event held on the 19th may 2012 was a sucsess with 13 teams taking part on a few stalls from user groups whom are part of the centre. Thanks to all who took part.
Presentation Evenings 2012
We would like to thank everyone who attended our presentation evenings over the weekend. As a club we believe these were excellent events especially on Friday with two derby county players turning up to present trophies.
